Most people are familiar with the traditional colors of seal, blue, and flame points. In addition, there are tortie, blue-cream, cream, chocolate, chocolate tortie, lilac, and lilac cream. Some of these colors are dilute versions of others. See chart below.

The newest line in Himmy Coat patterns is the "Lynx Point". Tabby markings (or striping) appears in the point color including the "M" on the forehead, a white mustache, and white lining on the inside edge of the ear pinna. Any of the colors above are available in lynx. See pictures of the seal lynx and blue lynx below.

At Donegal Cattery, all colors are possible, but only available from time to time, depending on the breedings planned. For that reason, if you don’t see the color you are looking for on the “Available” page, please keep revisiting this site and/or email me via the “contact us” page to inquire as to when the color you are interested in may become available. Additional photos of chocolates and lilacs may be viewed below. The best way to differentiate a chocolate point from a seal point is the paw pads. A seal point's will be a slate gray or color similar to the point color. A chocolate point's will be a cinnamon pink.
